Opera in the Arboretum 2019

Saturday 16 March, Pearl Beach, Central Coast, NSW

Showcasing a stellar line up of artists including internationally acclaimed mezzo soprano Milijana Nikolic and her husband, tenor Rosario La Spina. They will perform with baritone Christopher Tonkin and soprano Antoinette Halloran. Joining them will be guitarist Guiseppe Zangari. Pianist Francis Greep will accompany the artists, together with the Central Coast Chamber Orchestra, conductor Patrick Brennan.

These versatile artists will perform a mix of classical arias from operas such as La Traviata, Carmen, Rigoletto, Madame Butterfly, Don Giovanni, La Boheme and Così fan tutte and modern-day favourites like Moon River and Schlinder’s List.

The venue provides a truly unique audience experience – an amphitheatre set amid 5.5 hectares of coastal rainforest in the Crommelin Native Arboretum. So take your food and drink, a picnic rug and chairs and relax and enjoy an afternoon of Opera in the outdoors.

Since its inception in 2005 hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for deserving causes, charitable organisations and Rotary humanitarian projects at home and abroad. This year's major beneficiaries are: Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section, Fairhaven, Coast Shelter and Central Coast Conservatorium.]
