Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.

We are united by common values and vision for the future as we sharpen our focus with targeted specific causes that will reach communities most in need. Our diverse occupations, cultures, and experiences give us a unique perspective. Our shared passion for service helps us accomplish remarkable feats.

Our clubs are where Rotary’s humanitarian work begins. At weekly meetings, members not only catch up with friends and hear what’s happening in our communities, they also exchange ideas for creating positive change.

"Rotary kindled the spark within me to look beyond myself and embrace humanity. Service became a way of life for me and I, like many others, adopted the guiding philosophy that 'Service is the rent I pay for the space I occupy on this earth, and I want to be a good tenant of this earth.'"
Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta 2021-22
